Smail Key Employee Recognition Awards!

Smail Auto Group is excited to announce this quarter’s recipients of the Smail Key Employee Recognition Award Campaign! With these awards, Smail Auto Group hopes to help recognize our employees who make a difference with customers, vendors, or internally with other employees.

We would like to highlight the late Denny Ott’s Key Employee award – the Supportive/Mentor Award! Denny’s award was presented at the Fixed Ops Meeting to Joann and Evan Ott. Here are some of the comments received for his nomination:

• “Denny always was supportive to all employees and always listened to them and sent them in the right direction whether it was a work problem or personal.”
• “Denny always put his employees ahead of himself. When I would have an issue with a customer or an insurance company, Denny would immediately have a solution to the problem.”
• “I relied on his good judgement immensely and miss our conversations.”
• “He always stepped up to help anyone, whether he was at work or at home. He was always patient and very hands on, no matter what the situation was.”

He is greatly missed!

Supportive/Mentor Award

Awarded to employees who are always helping others achieve career goals by introducing new ways of thinking, challenging assumptions or providing feedback to help team members make decisions.

Awarded to employees who are always surprising and delighting our customers and going the extra mile to treat them as an honored guest in our stores.
