Midsize cars are fuel efficient, often affordable, and surprisingly spacious. Kelley Blue Book has compiled a list of the best midsize cars for 2022!

2021 Honda Accord

The 2021 Honda Accord got the top spot on Kelley Blue Books list thanks to its roomy interior, excellent reliability, and standard active safety and driver-assist features. New for 2021 the Accord comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with wireless connectivity as an option.

The front fascia has been restyled with a wider, grille for a more sophisticated look and improved integration of the Honda Sensing Radar Unit. Other changes include updates to technology, drivability, performance, and technology.

2022 Kia K5

The 2022 Kia K5 has made its presence known in the midsize sedan category since its debut last year. Kelley Blue Book credits its sharp styling, reasonable pricing, and good fuel economy for its place on their list. Another favorite feature is the option of all-wheel drive.

The Optima’s replacement offers a more exciting design and a peppy drive experience. Inside of the K5 is also redesigned for a simpler experience. The dashboard features few buttons with most of the controls being on the steering wheel or accessed through the large center display.

2021 Mazda6

The 2021 Mazda6 boasts stylish design, an upscale interior, and engaging driving dynamics. Although there will not be a 2022 model, the Mazda6 continues to hold its ground in the midsize sedan market. Kelley Blue Book mentioned the Mazda6’s exceptional handling, optional turbocharged engine, premium interior, competitive pricing, and standard advanced driver-assist features.
